Q1 2026 Roadmap Update: Building Better Visibility, Less Admin, and Stronger Foundations
Q1 focused on reducing manual effort, improving reporting clarity, and strengthening the connection between project work and financial outcomes. From the new ClickUp integration to smarter invoicing controls and reporting enhancements, these updates are all about helping agencies operate with greater accuracy, efficiency, and confidence, without changing how teams prefer to work.
A strong start to the Year of the (Winged) Horse
If this is the year of the (winged) horse, Q1 at Pegasus has been about building momentum in the right direction.
Not just moving faster, but moving with more control, more clarity, and a stronger connection between the work your teams are doing and the financial outcomes that matter.
This quarter’s updates focus on exactly that:
reducing manual effort
improving how data flows between systems
and strengthening the accuracy of reporting
So you can spend less time piecing things together and more time making decisions based on what’s actually happening across your agency.
A quarter focused on clarity and connection
The start of the year has been all about strengthening the foundations that matter most, connecting day-to-day work with financial outcomes, reducing admin overhead, and continuing to move agencies closer to real financial visibility.
Across both major releases and smaller improvements, the focus remains consistent:
helping you access clearer data, reduce friction in your processes, and make decisions based on financial truth, not fragmented systems or manual workarounds.
Major Updates
ClickUp Integration
We’ve introduced a new integration with ClickUp, making it easier for teams to manage project work without duplicating data across systems.
Clients and jobs continue to be set up and managed in Pegasus, then automatically synchronised with ClickUp, ensuring teams are always working with the correct structure.
Day-to-day project work and time tracking remain in ClickUp, with time flowing back into Pegasus for job costing and reporting.
The result is less manual admin, fewer errors, and clearer visibility into how time translates into cost and performance, without requiring teams to change how they work.
This is another step towards connecting operational workflows with financial outcomes, giving agencies a more complete and accurate view of performance.
International Language Support Improvements
We’ve continued to improve how Pegasus supports agencies working across multiple languages, focusing on greater flexibility, clearer outputs, and more consistent experiences throughout the system.
These updates are designed to better reflect how global teams operate, while reducing confusion and manual effort when managing multilingual data.
Recent enhancements include:
Bilingual client, product, and supplier records
When the Local Language system parameter is enabled, users can maintain both English and local-language versions of names and addresses (e.g. Japanese) across Clients, Products, and Suppliers. A toggle on each maintenance screen allows users to switch between views, with local-language fields clearly highlighted, making it easier to manage and validate information without duplication.User-level language display preferences
Also linked to the same system setting, individual users can select their preferred display language. Pegasus will automatically present the relevant name and address across the system, including in grids, filters, and selection lists, based on that preference. Where alternate values don’t exist, the system defaults seamlessly to the primary entry.Flexible display on external forms and documents
Agencies can now control how client and supplier details appear on external-facing forms and documents, choosing between English, local language, or both. This provides greater flexibility in how information is presented to clients, partners, and suppliers across different regions, while ensuring consistency with internal data.
Together, these improvements create a more adaptable and reliable experience for international teams, supporting clearer communication, reducing errors, and strengthening the foundation for global operations within Pegasus.
Minor Improvements
Invoice Adjustments–Only Option in Media Invoicing
Media Invoicing now includes more flexible control over how adjustments are billed.
A new Adjustments option allows you to:
Include adjustments
Bill adjustments only
Exclude adjustments entirely
This is particularly valuable for agencies working with deferred or non-standard billing cycles, making it easier to process adjustments within the correct period, without manual workarounds or complex selection rules.
Enhanced Job, Estimate, and Status Filtering in Production Reports
We’ve introduced new filtering options in the Production Report Writer to improve reporting accuracy, particularly for period-based and audit reporting.
You can now:
Report on job status as of a selected date
Filter by estimate status and invoicing state
These updates help ensure reports reflect the true state of work at a given point in time, supporting more accurate financial reporting and better decision-making.
Selection-Based Printing and Exporting in AP and AR Transaction Inquiry
Printing and export actions in AP and AR Transaction Inquiry now respect selected transactions.
When items are selected, only those records are included
When no selections are made, all filtered results are included (as before)
This small but practical improvement makes it easier to produce targeted outputs without repeatedly adjusting filters.
Proactive Email Notifications for Inactive User Profiles
Automated email notifications will alert users before their profile is disabled or permanently deleted due to inactivity.
This gives users the opportunity to keep their profiles active, reducing unnecessary re-creation and ongoing admin for agencies.
This update is currently in testing and expected to be released shortly.
Why this matters
Across Q1, the common thread is simple:
less manual effort, clearer reporting, and stronger alignment between work and financial outcomes.
Whether it’s:
Connecting project tools like ClickUp to Pegasus
Improving how and when revenue and costs are reflected
Or making reporting more accurate and flexible
These updates are all about helping agencies operate with greater confidence, grounded in reliable, connected data.
Because when your systems reflect reality, decisions become clearer.
Looking ahead
As we move further into the Year of the (winged) Horse, the focus isn’t just on speed, it’s on direction.
Building systems that give you lift where it matters:
clearer reporting, stronger financial control, and better visibility across your agency.
Q2 will continue this trajectory, with deeper reporting capabilities, improved reconciliation tools, and even more ways to connect operational activity with financial outcomes.
Because sustainable growth doesn’t come from moving faster alone, it comes from moving with clarity.
