Pegasus Systems Q2 2025 Roadmap Update: Smarter, Faster, and Just a Bit Prettier
What’s been happening the last few months? We’ve been sharpening up Pegasus Edge across finance and media, rolling out tools that save time, reduce fiddly errors, and make your data a little easier to love.
Here’s a full round-up of what landed in Q2, from GL dashboards to invoice value precision, and how they’re already making life easier for teams across the board.
🧾 Media Bookings Import: Your new best friend
Say goodbye to repetitive data entry and hello to seamless imports! You can now upload media bookings directly from Excel templates into Pegasus. Each media type has its own standardised format. It’s fast, simple, and seriously time-saving.
✅ Less manual effort
✅ Fewer errors
✅ Media teams get moving faster
It’s the fast lane to getting campaigns invoiced and reconciled, especially if you’re working with external systems or tight turnarounds.
📊 GL Dashboard: Finance data, meet your glow-up
We’re on the precipice of releasing the first in a new line of General Ledger dashboards, and we’re starting with the big picture. Keep your eyes at the ready this month for the Operating Snapshot, which provides finance and management teams with a real-time view of key performance metrics across billings, revenue, expenses, and profit, all in one smart, visual dashboard.
Drill into targets, compare trends year-on-year, and see your top revenue and cost drivers without touching a spreadsheet.
💡 This is just the beginning; more GL dashboards are on the way as we continue to expand the financial toolkit within Pegasus Edge.
💸 Media Bookings — New “Value for Invoice” Option
Precision is everything when it comes to billing. Our new Value for Invoice field in Media Bookings lets you enter the exact amount to invoice the client, separate from the supplier cost. Pegasus will automatically calculate the commission based on the difference.
🎯 Why it’s a game changer:
Removes the need to calculate tricky percentages
Solves rounding errors (no more 2-decimal frustration)
Keeps your client billing and margins clean and accurate
Perfect for media planners and buyers who need to bill exactly what was approved — no more back-and-forth.
Heads up: this feature requires the right permissions, and it’s not available for bookings with loadings. Contact Pegasus Support to get it turned on.
🔮 GL Cash Flow Tool: Forecasting just got real
No more wrestling spreadsheets or switching between tabs as this bad boy rolls out in July. The new GL Cash Flow tool is a central workspace to forecast and manage your future cash position, directly from your Pegasus data.
Use it to:
Create cash flow versions (weekly or monthly)
Assign AR/AP to periods
Add manual adjustments
Track balances over time
It’s designed to grow with you, whether you’re looking ahead to next month or building a multi-year forecast. Plus, you can jump into GL or budget inquiries from inside the tool, so you’re never guessing.
🗣️ Spotlight: Have your say on what’s next
We’ll be building out more cash flow forecasting capabilities, and we’d love your input. What would make this tool even better for your team?
Are you looking for:
Uncosted orders?
Unbilled estimates?
Planned/instructed media bookings?
Forecasted billings or revenue?
If there’s something that would help you plan further ahead or pull smarter numbers, let us know.

🧰 Smaller updates, big impact
Multiple Billing Percentages per Estimate (JCRs)
JCRs now support different billing percentages per estimate. This gives job managers more flexibility when planning and issuing invoices, and keeps the process in line with Production Invoicing.
Client, Product, and Plan Names in AP Inquiry Export
We’ve added plain-English names to the AP Inquiry Excel export. Less code confusion, more clarity.
Group By Headers in Report Writer Exports
When you export Production or Profitability reports with repeated groups, we now include the column headers every time. Filtering and pivoting just got easier.
Print Attachments + New Filters in AP Inquiry
Export invoice attachments in bulk as a single PDF. Choose to include them with inquiry or detailed reports, and narrow down your selection with new filters for Job Number and GL Account.
AR Statements to Excel
You can now export Accounts Receivable statements directly to Excel. This is ideal for teams using third-party tools or external systems for reporting or client communication. A small change, but a big win for integration and flexibility.
Macron Support for Names
Macron characters can now be used in job, estimate, and plan names, which is helpful for accurate spelling across te reo Māori and other languages.
Alphabetised Menus
All menu items in Pegasus Edge are now sorted alphabetically. A small change, but it makes finding what you need faster and more intuitive.
P&L Subtotals
Subtotals in the P&L report can now be added or edited, giving you more control over how financial data is grouped and displayed.
