Team Growth

Nikki Curtis Chief Operating Officer
Nikki Curtis joined as COO in August and will transition to General Manager of Pegasus Systems in December.

With a decade of experience in software client services, marketing, and operations—particularly within the agency sector—Nikki brings invaluable insights to our leadership team. Starting December, she will also assume the role of General Manager, guiding Pegasus Systems into a new phase of growth.

Product Innovations in 2024

We're proud to reflect on important updates that reinforce our commitment to providing the best agency management solutions:

The 2024 release of Edge Media marks the culmination of Pegasus Systems’ evolution to a fully cloud-based solution.

Pegasus’ transformation to the cloud started with Accounts Receivable, then moved through the full Finance module, Production, and finally, Media. What a ride! Big congrats to our awesome dev team.

But we didn’t just modernise the platform; the refresh of Edge Media came with some serious enhancements, including:

  • Enhanced Plan Management: Attach documents, sort by key metrics, and collaborate seamlessly with team members and clients.

  • Effortless Booking: Switch between List and Calendar Views, view all Media Types, validate bookings in real-time, and attach essential files to individual bookings.

  • Faster Media Imports: Simplified TV and radio holdings transfers with bulk operations and clear change tracking.

  • Actionable Reporting: Generate tailored reports for smarter decision-making, including media audits and expenditure insights.

Edge Media promotes efficiency, giving agencies more time to focus on strategy, clients, and campaign success.

Another major release, V108, brought a lot of ‘under-the-hood’ improvements:

  • Increased field character limits, allowing for more detailed data and classification options.

  • Support for macrons, representing languages like Māori and broader international character sets.

Other features and enhancements released in 2024 include:

  • Management Report Pack: Being released to the package in mid-December, this feature makes it easy to save key stakeholder reports in one place, providing an easy-to-grab ‘pack’.

  • Enhanced payment approval process: The payment creator receives an automatic email notification once approvals are finalised, streamlining follow-ups and providing direct access to approved payments. Never miss an approval again!

  • Month-End Improvements: Additional reports, warnings, and shortcuts to action required follow-ups to reduce the woe at your end-of-month and make it more wow!

  • Multi-Currency Management: This feature adds the foreign amount to the Estimate Management list and Job Details screens, making it easier to work in multiple currencies and efficiently manage and track estimates​.

  • New User Audit Fields: Hands up who’s a fan of accountability and transparency? This update introduced fields like "Added By," "Last Changed By," and "Updated By" in Profitability Transactions, making it easy to track who made changes and when​.

  • Notification Preferences in User Settings: Tailor the types of communications you want to receive and stay informed of relevant updates. We encourage you to update these preferences if you haven’t already done so.


Looking Ahead: Roadmap for 2025

Starting in Q1 2025, we’ll publish quarterly roadmaps to keep clients informed about upcoming developments. We’ll also invite our clients to participate in prioritising future initiatives, ensuring our solutions align with their needs.

At a high level, our goals for 2025 include:

  • Enhancing reporting and providing dashboard views.

  • Expanding API and integration offerings to foster seamless connectivity.

  • Focusing on media-specific needs and workflows to better serve your agency.

  • Building on automation capabilities and integrating AI functionalities to streamline operations.

In Q1, you can anticipate:

  • AP Invoice and Expense Scanning: Features that leverage AI to automate data entry, requiring a ChatGPT Pro account or a service provision from us.

  • Dashboards: Get ready for the launch of Pegasus Dashboards! They will be rolling out throughout the year. Get in touch to tell us what you’d like to see on your dashboard.

  • Media Reconciler: Reduce spreadsheet fatigue with all your media reconciliations in one place. The first phase will be built in Q1.

  • eInvoicing: A convenient third-party subscription service to simplify your invoicing process.
